A place just for you—with everything you need to feel good. Our Auszeithof is an old mountain farm at 1,000 meters above sea level and is more than just a place to stay—it is a place to arrive. At yourself. In silence. In the vastness. It is our heartfelt desire to give you exactly that: time, peace, and genuine freedom – without any expectations, without any rush. To allow this special place to unfold its full effect, the number of guests is deliberately limited to a maximum of two per accommodation unit. This leaves enough space for retreat and tranquility – and at the same time the opportunity to engage in mindful exchange with like-minded people when the moment arises. Whether you want to relax in the sauna, work out on the fitness equipment, immerse yourself in other soundscapes with an instrument, or simply be at one with yourself with a good book – here you will find everything your body, mind, and soul need.

Everything is here – for your very own personal time out. And you can take as much time as you need. Without pressure. Without distraction. Just you, nature – and whatever you need for your well-being at that moment. Self-care starts with you. Your time out with us is a conscious invitation to take responsibility for your own well-being. It's about you – what's good for you, what gives you energy, what helps you relax. There is no on-site supervision. You set your own pace. Your rhythm. Your path. Andrea or Christian will accompany you online for 3 hours per week free of charge, if you wish, in the areas of relaxation, resilience, mindfulness, and mental health. Additional hours can be booked.

Of course, we won't leave you alone: if you have any questions or something isn't working, we are available for you – in the background, but always there when you need us. Annika is your contact person on site and only a few minutes away. Simply request your desired date and duration and let us know if you want to come alone or in a group of up to four people. We will then be happy to provide you with a personalized offer.

Accommodation

The Auszeithof has two residential units for 1-2 people. The larger apartment, measuring 110 square meters, has two separate bedrooms with 160 cm wide beds, a large living room with a fireplace, sofa, dining table, and instruments, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and adjoining balcony. The apartment is ideal for couples or friends. For single occupancy, only one bedroom is available. The smaller apartment is approximately 50 square meters and is a one-room apartment with a sleeping loft with a 160 cm wide bed, ideal for individuals or couples. The highlight is the covered, wraparound balcony, from which you can enjoy the spectacular view all year round. This building also houses the sauna and fitness room, as well as the washing machine and dryer, which can be used by all guests of the farm. The price includes final cleaning and tourist tax. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed to stay with us. The entire farm is a non-smoking area.

Catering

You can cater for yourself on our farm. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, baking, and experimenting. Shopping facilities are available in Völkermarkt, approx. 10 km / 15 minutes away by car. Your host Annika runs a farm nearby and can supply you with eggs and milk and, upon request, take you shopping. Once a week, there is a market day in Völkermarkt where you can buy local produce directly. Honey is available directly from the beekeeper, who also takes care of the sheep.

To plan your time off perfectly, you can have a free initial consultation with a coach of your choice before your stay, during which you can set the priorities that are helpful for you.

Arrival

It's best to come by car, as there is unfortunately no public transport on the mountain. However, your host Annika can arrange to pick you up at Kühnsdorf train station and take you shopping. The nearest major train station is in Klagenfurt, about 40 minutes away, and Klagenfurt Airport is about 30 minutes away. You can also rent a car or take a taxi there.

Cancellation policy

Full refund up to 90 days before arrival.
If you cancel up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a 60% refund of the booking price.
If you cancel up to 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 30% refund of the booking price.
After this, if you cancel up to the day of arrival, you will receive a 10% refund of the booking price.

We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
