TERMS OF PARTICIPATION + CONTRAINDICATIONS
Some meditation experience is welcome. But even without any prior experience, you’re exactly where you need to be.
This one-day retreat is not suitable for people experiencing acute life crises, shortly after traumatic events, during acute phases of anxiety or depression without medical supervision, or when dealing with acute suicidal thoughts or recent grief. This is because meditation and silence amplify whatever is already present. So if you’re currently in need of stabilization, you’re more likely to find it in a structured coaching or clinical setting than in a meditative space with periods of silence.
The most important facts in a nutshell:
Guided Sitting Meditation (Breath, Focus, Inner Expansiveness)
Group Silent Meditation
Meditative Sound Bath with Singing Bowls
Meditation Through Gentle Movement (Four Cardinal Directions/Heart Chakra)
Actively Experiencing Silence (Time of Silence)
A thoughtfully designed, meditative experience in nature in the nearby forest
Short mindfulness sessions and thought-provoking ideas
A Deliberate Break from Media
A collaboratively designed, nature-inspired closing ritual
Ayurvedic meal featuring cold snacks, a warm dal, and golden milk
Still water and herbal tea
An inviting, bright seminar room
An absolutely quiet location, with nature within walking distance
Fully equipped kitchenette
Communal Locker Room
Free equipment (blankets, mats, pillows)
Elevator in the building
Free parking
Certified, experienced, and warm-hearted seminar leaders
If you're traveling from farther away, please make your own arrangements for accommodations in the area. In beautiful Hildesheim, you'll find a wide variety of places to stay.
Meals throughout the day consist of Ayurvedic snacks (cold), a classic Indian dal as the hot main meal, golden milk, herbal tea, and still water. Breakfast is not included.
Ayurvedic herbal cuisine helps balance the doshas, meaning it promotes holistic harmony. Enjoy freshly prepared soul food!
