BookAll meals at the Mountain Retreat Center are vegetarian and vegan. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day—at least according to the Chinese. That’s why we also place special emphasis on a good, healthy breakfast—always featuring warm porridge. For lunch, you’ll enjoy soup, bread, and spreads, and in the evening, you’ll be treated to a delicious buffet featuring salad, creative vegetarian and vegan main courses, and dessert. Everything is freshly prepared and, whenever possible, made with seasonal ingredients. We can accommodate food intolerances with advance notice.
A break where time is of no consequence. Set amidst the magnificent mountain scenery of Bavaria. Activate your Qi—your life force—and immerse yourself in the rhythm of slowness. Start your day with what are known as daily exercises, which in China are used to strengthen the muscles, stretch the meridians, and generally promote flexibility. Qi Gong practice combines slow, flowing movements with deep breathing. Jin Shin Jyutsu is a Japanese method for activating the body’s self-healing powers. By placing your hands on specific points on your body, you get your energy flowing. Methods for letting go, self-massage, and acupressure round out the retreat. The exercises are simple and suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners—you will learn how to integrate them into your daily life.

Program Overview:
The program begins on the first day at 4:00 p.m. with an afternoon session and ends on the last day after the morning session and a group breakfast. In between, there are two daily sessions, each lasting two hours.
Traveling by Car
Take the A8 highway (coming from Munich or Salzburg) and exit at Frasdorf, then head toward Aschau; from there, it’s a 15-minute drive to Sachrang.
Traveling by train
Take the train or bus to Aschau or Prien im Chiemgau. From there, you can reach Sachrang either by bus (limited service) or by taxi.
Taxi fare from Aschau to the Mountain Retreat Center is approximately €35.
