Melissa Salinas Rannenberg will guide you through these days of mindful slowing down with her clear, calm presence. The combination of qigong and meditation helps to quiet the mind’s chatter and cultivate new energy—gently and naturally.
Qigong is a millennia-old Chinese practice that harmonizes the body’s energy flow through slow, flowing movements. You’ll start the day with mindful Qi Gong exercises that bring your body, mind, and breath into harmony. In the afternoon, guided meditations await you, helping you relax more deeply, turn your gaze inward, and develop serenity. Sessions on breath awareness and mindfulness in daily life are also incorporated into the program.
The retreat is suitable for beginners as well as for those with prior experience. It is not about performance, but about presence. The schedule is intentionally kept minimal—time for walks in nature, silence, reading, or simply being is part of the experience. The surroundings of the Mountain Retreat Center, with a view of the Zahmer Kaiser and nestled in the peaceful landscape of the Chiemgau region, enhance the effect of the practice.
Program details: Begins on the day of arrival at 4:00 PM with a gentle Qi Gong session; ends on the day of departure after breakfast. On full days, there are two sessions each: Qi Gong in the morning (2 hours), meditation & mindfulness in the afternoon (2 hours).
