Summary

Invitation to the retreat

The English word "retreat" means "withdrawal." We withdraw completely for a few days. This includes not only the obvious things, such as our jobs and social contacts. We also withdraw as far as possible from all the beliefs in our heads and encounter our lives in a new and unconditioned way. The protected space of a retreat allows our subconscious to connect us with issues and insights that we have to flee from in our everyday lives. Because in everyday life, we don't find the necessary time and silence to face what wants to reveal itself. An intensive meditation retreat in silence is not a wellness vacation. It is the inner willingness to allow growth, further development, and healing within ourselves by opening ourselves to an encounter with our true self.

We remain in silence for the entire duration of the retreat.

Oliver Scheit, author and initiator of the first meditation hotel in Germany, is an experienced leader of silent meditation retreats. He himself awakened to his true self in 2016 during a silent meditation retreat with the American spiritual teacher Adyashanti. He teaches Advaita (non-duality) in the tradition of Ramana Maharshi and Ramesh Balsekar.

On most days, a guided meditation and/or a lecture by Oliver will accompany you as you open yourself to your true self. Last day: The retreat officially ends shortly before lunch. This is optional.
