Many participants are coming from out of town and need a place to stay.
There are lovely hotels and accommodations in Münster-Wolbeck and the surrounding area, such as:

If you’re traveling by car or bike, accommodations right on the Werse River are also a good option.

In downtown Münster, there are many options for overnight stays, and you can then take the bus or bike to Münster-Wolbeck.

During breaks, participants usually go together to nearby cafes or restaurants.
Of course, you’re also welcome to spend your breaks in the studio. In that case, it’s a good idea to bring a snack or something to eat.

Times for painting days: 11 a.m.–2 p.m. and 3–6 p.m. / €165
Times for painting weekends: Sat 1:30–4:00 p.m. and 5:00–7:30 p.m., Sun 10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 1:30–4:00 p.m. / €290

We always start with a brief round of introductions to get to know each other. You don’t need to have any specific issues to participate in Guided Painting. All you need is a curiosity about new things.

In Guided Painting, we always work individually with your process.
In the studio, there are guidelines that support the process:

- This way, I help participants organize their work/images rather than destroying them out of dissatisfaction.
- To ensure that all painters can fully experience and go through their processes, it is helpful not to discuss the paintings of other participants.
- And so that I, as the painting facilitator, can stay in close contact with the processes and the painters, I hang the paintings up and take them down. We look at them together to see if a painting is finished or if and what else can be done.
- Guided painting also involves me, as the painting facilitator, participating in the painting process in a supportive, clarifying, compassionate, and confrontational manner
- I ensure that everyone can paint with as little disturbance as possible—for example, by making sure all cell phones are turned off (exceptions will be discussed)

Münster is easily accessible by train and car. A bus departs from the main train station every 15 to 20 minutes for the studio in Münster-Wolbeck, taking you almost right to the studio door in about 15 minutes.
