Meditation- Jahrestraining 2027

For men only.
For men who shoulder a lot of responsibility and want to regain clarity about what truly matters to them.
8 days in Morocco, four of them on foot through the Sahara. A maximum of 12 men, three lead coaches, and a team of Bedouins. You’ll only take six days off.
You’re used to taking on responsibility—at work, in your family, for people who rely on you. You organize, make decisions, and keep everything together. And you handle a lot on your own.
On the surface, everything’s going well. But the question of what you actually want still comes up. Usually in the evening, when things quiet down.
Why this trip exists: On New Year’s Eve, there was a man in our group. At the end of the trip, he asked if there was a version of this just for men. In mixed-gender groups, men tend to open up more cautiously. Among men, that hesitation disappears after two days.
Not to tell you how you should be. But so you can gain some perspective and rediscover your own path.
Distance—You see your everyday life from the outside, and more clearly, what’s important to you.
Presence—You become more aware of yourself, your body, and the moment.
Connection—You realize you don’t have to figure everything out on your own.
This is a good fit if you carry a lot of responsibility and are seeking some distance, want to walk for several hours a day and simply live, and don’t want ready-made answers—but rather your own.
This isn’t a good fit if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation or are currently in the midst of an acute crisis.
The Coaches: Ralf Hertle—coach, leadership, resilience, and mindfulness trainer. Patricia Lopez—systemic therapist and yoga teacher, leads the constellations. Nadja Crivelli – yoga teacher, coach, and embodiment expert; has been leading retreats in the Sahara since February 2024.
We’ll talk before you book. Then you can decide at your own pace.

Kein WC, kein fliessend Wasser, kaum Empfang. Waschwasser gibt es, eine Dusche nicht. Wir zeigen dir am ersten Tag, wie es geht.
Faisal und sein Beduinen-Team von Magic of Desert bauen die Zelte auf, kochen und führen durch die Wüste.

BookFull board, Moroccan cuisine, freshly prepared, mostly vegetarian. We eat together in the evenings by the fire.
Please mention any food intolerances during the preliminary discussion, and we’ll take them into account when you arrive.
Day 1 – Arrival in Marrakesh. We’ll meet at a traditional riad. We’ll get to know each other and discuss the coming days.
Day 2 – Across the Atlas Mountains to M’hamid. We’ll spend the first night at a desert camp.
Days 3–6 – On foot through the Sahara. Four days with Faisal and his Bedouin team. We walk for several hours at a time, often in silence. The camels carry our luggage. We sleep in a Bedouin tent or under the open sky.
Day 7 – Back to Marrakech. We say goodbye to the Bedouin team and drive over the Atlas Mountains.
Day 8 – Conclusion and journey home. You travel home or stay for a few more days.
Walking, talking, silence. The days follow a simple rhythm. We walk, take breaks, and eat together. In between, there are conversations, guided reflection, and silence.
After walking, you write for yourself. Then there’s a sharing circle—those who wish to can share their thoughts. You decide whether and how much to share.
With Patricia, you’ll explore themes related to family, work, and relationships through systemic constellations. Simple exercises for the body and breath help you unwind after the walk and bring you to a place of calm.
At the end, you’ll reflect on what you’ve gained and what your next step will be. After returning home, there will be two follow-up sessions.
You don’t need any hiking or yoga experience. You’ll walk on soft sand and carry no luggage.
You’ll book your own flight to Marrakesh. If you’d like to add a few days before or after the trip, you’ll need to arrange that on your own. We’d be happy to give you some tips.
You can offset the carbon footprint of your flight through atmosfair or myclimate.
