Sometimes gentle, sometimes vigorous—for all skill levels and completely free of pressure to perform.

Group hikes on select days, ranging from relaxed, easy hikes to via ferrata. You decide what’s right for you.

Wellness massages and a sauna for deep relaxation.

Free Time
Time for yourself, just the way you need it: take the gondola up to the alpine pasture, enjoy the view and mountain air, go hiking, stop for a bite to eat, or simply do nothing at all. Chill out on the sun terrace, have the sauna all to yourself, relax in a hanging chair, enjoy a really good meal, and take a deep breath. Breathe, Baby!

Anyone can join us here. There’s something for everyone. Whether it’s a daily program with yoga, Pilates, hikes, and adventure, or easy flows, the sauna, massages, and simply unwinding—it’s all possible here in Lofer. Relax in a hanging chair, enjoy the view of the mountains, and breathe!

Our Favorite Place: DER STEINERWIRT. Hangout & Hotel.
We’ve been coming here for many years, and we’ve already turned a lot of people into LOFERLOVERS. There are good reasons for that.

Location: right in the heart of this tranquil town, with a great outdoor terrace and sun deck offering mountain views. The Saalach River flows by, the Steinberge mountains provide an incredible backdrop, and the Loferer Bergbahn (gondola to Almenwelt, included with the guest card) is within walking distance. Perfect for strolling, biking, and hiking.
Hangout & Hotel: a historic establishment, reimagined in a modern and relaxed style. Individually designed rooms, some with balconies, a sun terrace, and an atmosphere where you’ll feel right at home.
Dining: The chef prepares fresh, regional dishes with an international twist (inspired by Latin American and Middle Eastern cuisines). The dishes are served family-style, with options available for plant-based diners as well.
Sauna: Small, cozy, and just right after a day in the mountains.
