Situated on the Tyrolean Fernpass, in the north-west of Austria, close to the German border, the AlpenRetreat is easy to reach via the Fernpass road B179 (E532).

By bus
Bus connections within Tyrol: nearest bus stop GH Zugspitzblick (free pick-up) or Nassereith Postplatz

AlpenRetreat transfer and pick-up service
Pick-up from the GH Zugspitzblick bus stop is free of charge - please let us know your arrival time.

Our transfer and pick-up service is intended for those arriving at times when public transportation is no longer available. Please try to come to Lermoos or Nassereith.
