Does this sound familiar? Your body has been ready for a break for ages, but your mind is still racing. That’s exactly what these days are for. From Sunday through Wednesday or Thursday, your daily routine takes on a calm, clear rhythm: yoga in the morning, a workshop after breakfast, and yoga again in the late afternoon. What happens in between is up to you.
The yoga sessions are part of the open program at Kleebauer Hof and last 90 minutes each. No prior experience is necessary—beginners are just as welcome as experienced practitioners. In the morning, you gently awaken your body; in the late afternoon, you wind down the day on the mat.
And what are the benefits? Movement that stretches and strengthens, and a breath that slows down. Often, this quiets the whirlwind of thoughts and relaxes your back. Yoga can help you cope with stress more calmly—and you’ll take a few exercises home with you as a little routine.
The workshops engage both your hands and your ears. They’re intentionally analog: no screens, no pressure to perform, just you and whatever’s right in front of you.
Outside, the forest takes on autumn colors; in winter, there might be snow on the fields. You can borrow snowshoes for free at the farm, and the Mühltal Trail passes right by the house. Afterward, the Swiss stone pine sauna awaits, and in the evening, the dining room. This getaway is perfect for anyone who wants to get away for a short while without having to plan an entire week—whether alone, as a couple, or with friends.
The Workshops
- Monday – Crafting with natural materials (90 minutes, with Saskia)
Things that would otherwise be left lying around outside get a second chance here. With Saskia, you’ll let your hands do the work while your mind finally gets a break. It’s not about perfect results, but about the process: feeling the materials, experimenting, discarding ideas, and starting over. And in the end, you’ll hold something in your hands that’s truly one-of-a-kind. You’ll paint stones or make your own mobile with treasures from the forest.
- Tuesday – Sound Bath or Singing Bowl Meditation (90 minutes, with Nadine)
You’ll get comfortable on your mat, close your eyes—and Nadine will strike the singing bowls. The sounds fill the room; some you hear, others you feel more deeply in your body. That’s all you need to do. For many, this is the simplest form of meditation: the sound gives your mind something to hold onto, and suddenly, a sense of calm settles within. The rest of the day often feels a little more spacious afterward.
- Wednesday – Bread Baking (90 minutes, with Julia) · included with a 4-night stay
Flour on your hands, dough that gives way beneath your fingers, and that aroma when the bread comes out of the oven. With Julia, you’ll learn how to make bread from just a few ingredients—and along the way, you’ll realize how good it feels not to rush things. Dough takes time—and you’re allowed to take that time, too. A hands-on workshop—and perhaps the start of your own Sunday routine.
For a 3-night stay, two workshops are included; you can book the third for €25. For a 4-night stay, all three workshops are included.
