At the Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center, you can enjoy modern vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Start your day with a heartwarming breakfast featuring breads, jams, cheese, freshly made porridge, fruit, a variety of milk options, yogurt, fruit juices, spreads, coffee, and a selection of teas. At 2:00 p.m., we serve a light lunch featuring a warming soup along with spreads served with bread or pastries.

This Pilates retreat focuses on variety and quality of movement, as well as precise execution of the movements according to the principles of the Pilates Method. This physical focus allows us to gradually recognize, on all levels, the difference that this awareness of movement makes—both internally and externally, physically and mentally.

Breathing techniques and movement sequences in this program challenge your concentration and coordination—allowing a harmonious connection between body and mind to emerge.
Susanna Lyon, your program leader, is a physical therapist who incorporates her expertise in this field into the program, enabling her to accommodate physical limitations effectively. Beginners are just as welcome as those with Pilates experience.

About Pilates
Pilates is a mat-based workout that requires little or no equipment and can be described as a journey from an upright standing position through various starting positions on the mat and back to a standing position. Pilates incorporates flexibility, strengthening, and stretching. The goal and result is a stable core, from which movements can be performed smoothly and effectively.

Program Schedule:
7:00–8:00 a.m.: Pilates before breakfast
10:00–11:00 a.m.: Meditation and/or mindfulness exercises

4:00–5:00 p.m.: Meditation and/or mindfulness exercises
5:00–6:00 p.m.: Pilates before dinner

Arrival

By car:
From Linz: via Ottensheim on the Rohrbach federal highway to Altenfelden
From Passau: via Oberkappel or Engelhartszell to Altenfelden

By train and bus:
Take the train to Linz Hauptbahnhof; from there, there are regular bus connections to Altenfelden. Pickup from the “Altenfelden Ort” bus stop is included at fixed times:
Pickup from the bus: 2:08 p.m. and 3:08 p.m. (Registration required at least 24 hours before arrival)
Transfer to the bus: 9:50 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.

From Linz Central Station, you can reach Altenfelden Ort via bus lines 215 and 230/231
