On the day of arrival at 6 p.m., we’ll have dinner together and go over a few general rules regarding nutrition and the schedule for the vacation.
In the mornings, usually at 9 a.m., we go for a walk (about 10,000 steps). The Taunustöpferei is located in the heart of the idyllic Taunus region. Starting right from our front door, we can walk a different route every day, radiating out in all directions. At 11 a.m., we have breakfast—preferably fruit, nuts, yogurt, and oatmeal. On Wednesdays after breakfast, there’s time for excursions in the surrounding area.
At 1 p.m., we start pottery for about 3 hours.
Anyone who’d like to can cook with me. At 6:00 p.m., we have a hot dinner. Afterward, you can play some games (there’s a well-stocked game cabinet) or just sit together and relax.
On Wednesdays, the time between meals is free—perfect for a day trip, for example. There are also some nice places to visit in the surrounding area on Sundays before the trip and on Saturdays after the trip.
A tennis court (2 km away) is available for play (5 EUR/hour); rackets, etc., are provided.
