LUCY RATZEL QIGONG
Seminar trips beyond the usual
THE RETREAT
QIGONG in gorges
Qigong seminar leader LUCY RATZEL and landscape photographer COSTAS ZISSIS will turn this seminar into a very special experience for you.
We are both very close to nature and have made it our concept to always practise Qigong in the midst of nature. It reinforces the exercises in a natural way, because Qigong originated from the observation of nature and here we are in direct contact with the sources of power!
In the morning we practise Qigong with a view of the magical rocky plateaus, then after breakfast by the river in the shade of old plane trees, in gorges and at ancient places of power.
The afternoon is partly at leisure, for swimming in the turquoise river, hiking or lingering in one of the tavernas in the mountain village.
One early evening we meet for a guided meditation "Small energy cycle".
There are also free days for excursions and letting yourself drift.
THE SEMINAR LOCATION
Zagori National Park - UNESCO World Heritage Site
The national park in north-western Greece is famous for its VIKOS GORGE.
According to the Guinness Book of Records, it is the deepest gorge in the world!
This place seems like one big place of power.
Impressive rocky plateaus and rock gardens, springs and deep green-blue rivers - the almost untouched nature is breathtakingly beautiful!
SEMINAR CONTENT:
SHI BA SHI - 18 exercises
The "18 harmonious movements of Taiji-Qigong" were developed in 1979 by Qigong master and master healer Prof. Lin Hou Sheng to improve the practitioner's general health and well-being. The health-promoting properties of this series of exercises are manifold: They are said to strengthen the heart, kidneys, stimulate the lungs and open the chest, improve blood pressure, relieve depression, anxiety and headaches, and strengthen the knees and legs. They are simple, flowing movements that calm the mind and move the whole body.
GUIDED MEDITATION
The "Small Heavenly Circuit" or "Small Energy Circuit" is a guided meditation in which we activate and strengthen the main and secondary energy centers of the body.
