New Year’s Eve without a single artificial light on the horizon.
Nine days in Morocco, including six nights in the desert near M’hamid. Nestled within 28 nights spent reflecting on the Sperr- and Rauhnächte: first a look back, then a vision.
On New Year’s Eve, everything falls silent. And then comes the question you’ve been avoiding all year.
Not: What have I accomplished? The list is long; you’ve accomplished a lot.
But rather: Where did I actually end up this year?
You don’t need resolutions for 2027. You had some last year.
This is for you if…
– you want to break free from just going through the motions
– you really want to bring this year to a close, not just end it
– you’ve lost your way somewhere along the way
– you’re exhausted, even though “everything’s actually fine”
– you want some space without having to explain yourself
– you’re seeking clarity—not in your head, but within yourself
And definitely not if you just want a vacation without any inner work, are expecting a wellness hotel with a spa, or simply don’t have the capacity for yourself right now.
This isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about finding your way back to yourself.
Before you sign up, we’ll have a brief conversation. Not as a sales pitch, but to ensure there are no unanswered questions on either side. Sometimes such a conversation ends with me advising against it. That’s okay, too.
I’m Nadja—a yoga teacher, life coach, and mother of two teenagers, based in Zurich. I’ve been guiding people to the Sahara since February 2024. I don’t just take you there. I also bring you back.

Kein WC, kein fliessend Wasser, kaum Empfang. Waschwasser gibt es, eine Dusche nicht. Wir zeigen dir am ersten Tag, wie es geht.
Faisal und sein Beduinen-Team von Magic of Desert bauen die Zelte auf, kochen und führen durch die Wüste.

A Day in the Desert
The day has a rhythm, not a schedule.
Sunrise: You wake up as it gets light. Tea by the fire; no one speaks.
In the morning: Yoga in the sand while the sun is still low. Then breakfast.
Trekking: several hours of hiking, in silence. A break in the shade. Onward to the campsite.
In the afternoon: The Bedouins set up the tents. Arrival, water, feet up. Writing, sharing after the silence—sharing is optional.
Sunset: climbing the highest dune together.
By the fire: dinner, drumming, conversations.
The night: in the tent or outside in the sand. The Milky Way stretches across the entire sky.
You don’t have to be super athletic, but you do need to be able to walk. Whoever is slower sets the pace. You don’t need any yoga experience.
You’ll book your own flight to Marrakesh. You’ll be picked up at the airport—the driver’s sign will display the group name. Everything else is taken care of.
You can offset the carbon footprint of your flight through atmosfair or myclimate.
