Start your day with a heartwarming breakfast featuring breads, jams, cheese, freshly made porridge, fruit, a variety of milk options, yogurt, fruit juices, spreads, coffee, and a selection of teas. At 2:00 p.m., we serve a light lunch featuring a warming soup along with spreads served with bread or pastries.
Stress rarely manifests itself only in the mind—it can be felt throughout the entire body. Persistent tension, exhaustion, or the feeling of constantly being “on edge” are often signs that the nervous system is under constant strain. This is exactly where Somatic Healing comes in: the body serves as the starting point for returning to a state of safety, calm, and balance.
Set against the backdrop of the rolling hills of the Mühlviertel, this retreat alternates between theoretical instruction and hands-on experience. You’ll gain a solid understanding of how the autonomic nervous system works, how stress arises, and how to recognize when your system has become unbalanced. Above all, however, you’ll learn how to regain access to your body’s natural self-regulation.
Guided breathing exercises, mindful movement, somatic practices, meditation, and reflection create space to have new experiences and anchor them for the long term. The power of co-regulation within the group, as well as the tranquility of nature surrounding the Kleebauer Hof, also support this process.
The retreat focuses on practical experience. All content combines in-depth knowledge with exercises you can apply immediately.
You’ll learn the basics of the autonomic nervous system and discover how to regulate it through your body. Together, we’ll examine individual stress triggers and personal reaction patterns and develop ways to deal more mindfully with both negative and positive stress.
Body-oriented exercises from somatic healing, breathwork, gentle functional movement, and mindfulness and relaxation techniques help you become aware of tension and release it step by step. At the same time, you’ll strengthen your body awareness and develop greater trust in your body’s signals.
The natural surroundings and tranquility of the Kleebauer Hof support this process.

Program Details:
The program begins on the day of arrival at 4:00 p.m. with the first session and ends on the day of departure with breakfast and the morning session. In between, there are two two-hour sessions each day.

From Passau: via Oberkappel or Engelhartszell to Altenfelden
By Train and Bus
Take the train to Linz Central Station; from there, there are regular bus connections to Altenfelden. Pickup from the “Altenfelden Ort” bus stop is included at fixed times:
Pickup from the bus: 2:08 p.m. and 3:08 p.m. (Registration required at least 24 hours before arrival)
Transfer to the bus: 9:50 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.
