Catering

All meals at the Mountain Retreat Center are vegetarian and vegan. The most important meal of the day—at least according to the Chinese—is breakfast. That’s why we, too, place special emphasis on a good, healthy breakfast—which always includes warm porridge. For lunch, you’ll enjoy soup, bread, and spreads, and in the evening, you’ll be treated to a delicious buffet featuring salad, creative vegetarian and vegan main courses, and dessert. Everything is freshly prepared and, whenever possible, made with seasonal ingredients. We can accommodate food intolerances with advance notice.

This coaching journey is an invitation to encounter yourself with open eyes—and to examine old patterns of stress. At the heart of the program is PEP® (Process- and Embodiment-Focused Psychology), an easy-to-learn and highly effective method for self-regulation based on mindful bodywork and conscious emotional management.

The so-called “tapping technique” helps release stressful thoughts and feelings and restore inner balance.

The course is deliberately designed to be hands-on: just brief theoretical introductions at the start, followed by plenty of space for your own experiences. You’ll practice using PEP®, meditation, breathing techniques, relaxation methods, and experiences in nature to calm your autonomic nervous system—and rediscover self-regulation. These methods can serve as a preventive measure or be used to support your recovery from stress-related exhaustion.

The retreat is accompanied by moments of silence, personal reflection, and the special setting of the Mountain Retreat Center: a place of simplicity and warmth, enveloped in silence, nature, and the powerful view of the mountains.

This retreat is designed for anyone longing for inner peace, greater serenity, and a renewed connection to their own inner strength. It is intended for people going through stressful life phases as well as for those who wish to take proactive steps toward prevention.

Program Overview

On the day of arrival, the retreat begins with an initial group session at 4:00 p.m.—a gentle introduction to help you settle in and get into the right mindset.
On the following days, you can expect two coaching and mindfulness sessions of approximately two hours each—one in the morning and one in the late afternoon.
On the day of departure, a final two-hour session will take place before breakfast. This will be followed by breakfast together and individual departures.

Arrival

Traveling by car:
On the A8 highway (coming from Munich or Salzburg), take the Frasdorf exit and head toward Aschau; from there, it’s a 15-minute drive to Sachrang.

Traveling by train:
Take the train or bus to Aschau or Prien im Chiemgau. From there, you can reach Sachrang either by bus (limited service) or by taxi.
Taxi fare from Aschau to the Mountain Retreat Center is approximately €35.

Cancellation policy

If you cancel up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a 80% refund of the booking price.
If you cancel up to 20 days before arrival, you will receive a 70% refund of the booking price.
If you cancel up to 10 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund of the booking price.
If you cancel up to 4 days before arrival, you will receive a 30% refund of the booking price.
If you cancel up to 2 days before arrival, you will receive a 15% refund of the booking price.
After this, the booking is non-refundable.
