Argentine tango is an improvised partner dance set to music that touches the soul—with no set step sequences. It is a dance of connection: it invites you to feel, listen, and trust your own inner compass. Just like in yoga practice, you can discover a great deal about yourself through it.
Tango is passionate and intense, always danced as a pair. Yoga, on the other hand, invites you to let go, find stillness, and discover contentment—regardless of external circumstances. Two very different paths with a similar goal: to find yourself. Both require a keen body awareness and the ability to be fully present in the moment.
The day begins and ends with a 1.5-hour yoga session from the open program—sometimes invigorating, sometimes calm in the form of Yin Yoga, tailored to the group and the moment. In between, there is a daily Argentine tango session of equal length: from the basic steps through leading and following to free improvisation in pairs.
The week is led by Adeline Ireland, an internationally experienced yoga teacher who teaches Argentine tango with just as much passion as she does her yoga practice.
Between sessions, there’s time for relaxation: by the natural swimming pond, in the sauna, or in the evening around the fire pit. The program is suitable for anyone who wants to combine yoga and tango—no dance experience is necessary.
