The five animals of Shaolin Qi Gong - Chiemgau

Retreat to the Mountain Retreat Center in the Chiemgau mountains. The Retreat Center has 20 rooms with views of the impressive natural landscape of the Alps. It can happen that you are amazed out of nowhere. Again and again. Each of our rooms is a special kind of retreat in its own right. Small, fine, cozy.

The full board at the Mountain Retreat Center is vegetarian and vegan. The most important meal of the day, at least according to the Chinese, is breakfast. That's why we also attach particular importance to a good, healthy breakfast - always including warm porridge. For lunch you enjoy soup, bread and spreads, and in the evening you are treated to a delicious buffet with salad, creative vegetarian-vegan main courses and a dessert. Always freshly cooked and as seasonal as possible. Intolerances can be catered for by prior arrangement.

During these days in the Chiemgau mountains, you will get to know the movements of the five animals of Shaolin Qi Gong and their beneficial power. Feel Qi, the life energy that can flow freely and permeably.

Nutrition is just as important as the movements. You will learn which food strengthens which internal organ and when, and which foods can weaken you and when. Physical exercises in combination with mental exercises and nutrition bring strength, health, harmony and joy into your life.

The Mountain Retreat Center is located in the German Chiemgau region, on the border with Austria.

Arrival by car
Take the A8 highway (coming from Munich or Salzburg) and exit at Frasdorf in the direction of Aschau, from there it is a 15-minute drive to Sachrang.

Arrival by train
Take the train or bus to Aschau or Prien im Chiemgau. From there you can either take the bus (few connections) or a cab to Sachrang.
Cab fare from Aschau to the Mountain Retreat Center approx. € 35.

The nearest airports are Munich or Salzburg: continue by train or bus.
