We see Buddha figures everywhere today - in gardens, yoga rooms, on T-shirts. But who was Siddhartha Gautama really, this king's son from northern India who left everything behind to find the truth?
In this retreat, you will immerse yourself in the essence of Buddhist teachings - beyond exoticism or religious attachment. We will look at central aspects of his teachings: the path to liberation from suffering, the development of compassion, the power of mindfulness and the deep understanding of reality.
The days are characterized by a clear structure, but without rigid guidelines: silent meditation sessions, mindful walks, physical exercises from yoga and inspiring discussion impulses form the heart of the programme. Between the sessions, there is space for retreat, exchange or simply being - supported by the tranquil mountain panorama of the Chiemgau.
This retreat is aimed at anyone who would like to delve deeper - regardless of previous knowledge or spiritual orientation. All you need is the willingness to listen - to the teachings and to yourself.
