BookAll meals at the Mountain Retreat Center are vegetarian and vegan. The most important meal of the day—at least according to the Chinese—is breakfast. That’s why we also place special emphasis on a good, healthy breakfast—which always includes warm porridge. For lunch, you’ll enjoy soup, bread, and spreads, and in the evening, you’ll be treated to a delicious buffet featuring salad, creative vegetarian and vegan main courses, and dessert. Everything is freshly prepared and, whenever possible, made with seasonal ingredients. We can accommodate food intolerances with advance notice.
Hiking is yoga: the joy of movement, being present in the moment, relaxing, and recharging your energy all at once. During the morning yoga session, the body is energized through gentle sequences of movement (yoga flow) and invigorating breathing exercises, and the senses are attuned to the world around us. While hiking, you’ll find your own rhythm, allowing you to reach your destination with ease and joy.
We pause frequently to experience nature with all our senses. During the evening yoga session, relaxing yoga poses along with breathing and meditation exercises guide you into a state of calm, allowing the day’s impressions to linger.
Step by step, the yoga exercises and sequences are built up and adapted to your needs and abilities. Through yoga, breathing exercises, and excursions through the fascinating natural surroundings of the Mountain Retreat Center, you’ll notice how your body becomes more supple and flexible, your breath freer, and your mind increasingly relaxed. A sense of joy and lightness emerges.

Schachenberg, walking time only approx. 2.5–3 hours
Spitzsteinhaus, walking time only approx. 3.5–4 hours
Learn how to integrate simple physical, breathing, and meditation exercises into your daily routine without taking up too much time, so you can take a little time out for yourself at any time, even at home.
Traveling by Car
Take the A8 highway (coming from Munich or Salzburg) and exit at Frasdorf, then head toward Aschau; from there, it’s a 15-minute drive to Sachrang.
Traveling by Train
Take the train or bus to Aschau or Prien im Chiemgau. From there, you can reach Sachrang either by bus (limited service) or by taxi.
Taxi fare from Aschau to the Mountain Retreat Center is approximately €35.
