The leaves in the Oder Valley are ablaze with color, migratory birds are leaving Germany as it grows colder, and we are drawn once again to Brandenburg. At our Vairagya Retreat, we reorganize ourselves for the cold half of the year: What can go, what can stay? We take plenty of time for introspection, campfire romance, and manifesting our wishes during a cacao ceremony.
Wake up in the morning to the sound of singing bowls and meditation, followed by yoga and pranayama. Towards the end of the session, you'll hear the clatter from the kitchen as the chefs at Taubenblau prepare the first vegetarian-vegan meal of the day, so you can sit down at the table right after yoga.
The most important facts in a nutshell:
Overnight stay in a shared room
Full board with organic food from our own garden and Demeter products
Pranayama / Breathwork
daily yoga sessions
cocoa ceremony
meditations
If you would like a little more privacy, we have the following options for you: There is a suite for 2 people (+$80 per person), several single rooms (+$80 on the upper floor, +$60 in the basement) and double rooms (+€70 per person on the upper floor, +€30 in the basement), a triple room in the basement (+€30 per person in the basement), or an entire apartment for 2-3 people with its own large terrace overlooking the countryside (+€120 per person), and the option of sleeping in your own tent/bus in the garden (-€10/night).
Kirtan / Chanting mantras
forest bathing
Following extensive renovations in 2016, the house now offers space for 24 people in 14 bedrooms and one apartment spread over three floors.
There are private and shared bathrooms, a gallery to relax in, a 65-square-meter yoga and seminar room, a multifunctional dining room and co-working area, and a cozy living room. During the summer months, a second seminar room is also available in the former stable building.
A special highlight is the large terrace, affectionately known as the "deck," with a pergola to protect against the rain. Here you can sit, eat, do yoga, or hold meetings well into the fall. The bedrooms range from spacious and luxurious to small and practical. All rooms are well designed, bright, and friendly.
Look forward to vegan-vegetarian full board with organic food from our own garden and Demeter products. We are happy to take food intolerances and allergies into account. <3

-Arrival by train From Berlin, it takes about 50 minutes to reach Angermünde station. From Angermünde station, take bus 463 to 'Stolzenhagen Ortseingang'. The bus is free with a train ticket to Lunow and costs EUR 3 with a ticket to Angermünde.
To get to the Taubenblau seminar house, get off at the 'Wendestelle' stop in Stolzenhagen, turn left at the roundabout and walk up Ernst-Thälmannstraße to No. 9.
If you cannot take a regular bus, order a RUFBUS. -Arrival by car %When traveling to Stolzenhagen, please note that there are two Stolzenhagens in the Berlin area! We are located near the German-Polish border, close to the village of Lunow, 15 kilometers south of Angermünde. Stolzenhagen is a small village without a train station.
Parking spaces are limited, and we ask that you respect the wishes of the village community: It is best to unload your belongings at the seminar house and then take your car to the designated parking lot at the entrance to the village (BEFORE entering the village, on the right-hand side). These spaces are almost always free. From there, it is only a few minutes' walk to the Stolzenhagen estate.
For those staying at Taubenblau: Please park in the designated parking lot on the premises. Please do not park in front of Taubenblau itself or in front of the neighbors' houses, especially not across the street, so as not to block the entrance to the donkey stables. There are additional parking options across from the campground.
