Included is nourishing vegetarian and vegan full board: a snack with tea in the morning, a generous brunch later in the day, and a three-course dinner in the evening. Fruit, teas, and herbal infusions are available throughout the day. The cuisine is intentionally simple and filling to sustain the body during the intensive work—no hotel buffet, no distractions.

The retreat follows a clear inner journey over five days—and a vibrant, flexible rhythm that gives space to the body, breath, and soul.

Thursday – Arrival & Opening
You arrive in the mountains of Monchique, leave everyday life behind, and are welcomed into the circle. No expectations, no pressure to perform: The first day creates the space for you to truly be present.

Friday – Igniting
Movement and breath bring warmth. Budokon Yoga and Primal Movement awaken the body as an ally; what you’ve held onto for so long is allowed to come into motion. The warrior within you isn’t trained—it’s remembered.

Saturday – Encounter
The day of encountering the shadow. Through breathwork, somatic rituals, and in the circle, you’re invited to reclaim parts of yourself that you’ve shut out. Pain doesn’t become a story—it becomes a source of strength that’s allowed to be a part of you.

Sunday – Enlightenment
Energy and chakra work, integration, the body as sacred ground. Radiance doesn’t arise for an audience, but because nothing needs to be hidden anymore.

Monday – Rising
You don’t leave as a new person. You’ll leave as yourself—grounded, clearer, with the fire you no longer hold back.

A typical day in between might look like this: a gentle morning awakening with breathwork, a walk, or stillness; followed by guided movement or energy work; time for integration in nature, journaling, or rest; a hearty brunch; in the afternoon, inner work or reflection; free space to settle in the countryside; in the evening, a shared meal and circle—or silence, if the day calls for it. Nothing is just for show. Every pause is part of the training.

The Casa de Cura is located in the mountains of the Serra de Monchique, in the Algarve’s hinterland: a quiet valley, hillsides, paths winding between the houses, and vast natural landscapes instead of resort activity. Monchique is the nearest town, and the sea is within reach, yet the place feels far removed from everyday life—enveloped by mountain air, silence, and the rhythm of the countryside.

Most guests arrive via Faro Airport. From there, the retreat is easily accessible; a shared shuttle can be arranged. Flights and transfers are not included in the price—please plan your arrival and departure so that you can arrive at your leisure on October 15 and depart again on October 19.
