With invigorating exercises on the mat, we prepare our bodies for snowshoeing (or cross-country skiing) and then, following the beneficial exercise in nature, we lead the stressed muscles and fasciae into well-deserved relaxation with a gentle yin yoga practice.
We gain our inner balance from the stillness that resides within us all. We will (re)discover this inner place through meditation in order to draw strength from it for everyday life. Each day has a specific motto, such as:
- Ahimsa (non-violence)
- Leg stretching and spine
- chakras
- Gratitude
- Discovering inner spaces
- Kidney bubble
The daily topics are individually adapted to the needs of the group. Our group yoga sessions take place before breakfast and before dinner.
Note: We undertake winter activities on three days (depending on snow conditions). Joint cross-country skiing tours (classic and/or skating) do not replace cross-country skiing lessons, but beginners are very welcome.
Please bring your own cross-country skiing equipment if you have it, but it can also be rented for a fee in Windischgarsten. Snowshoes are available at Villa Sonnwend.
