During this writing trip to Paris, we will meet once a day in a charming old building. In these guided sessions, you will immerse yourself in writing with Gateless Writing and audio prompts. Afterwards, you can read your newly written text aloud and receive feedback that focuses on your strengths: we will only reflect back to you what we like and what touches us. This way, you will learn how your texts come across and develop your writing voice. Along the way, we will work together to figure out what works well when writing. On Friday and Saturday mornings, you will have time to discover the city through writing. I will give you prompts that you can use wherever you feel drawn to.
If you don't want to write alone, you can meet up with me and others from the group at agreed meeting points to exchange ideas. Do you have your own plans? Then you can opt out. Of course, I will recommend beautiful places to write near sights, but also off the beaten track.
On Sunday, after our Gateless Writing session, we will celebrate further texts that were created during our strolls through Paris in a "showcase." The trip offers you a mixture of guided group sessions and self-organized time with writing prompts and local tips. You decide how you want to spend your free time, how intensively you want to write, and how much interaction you are looking for.
Use the Parisian flair for your literary project, capture your impressions in short stories, or keep a travel journal: my prompts are designed to allow for a wide range of content and styles.
