sequence

During this retreat in the rolling hills of the Mühlviertel region, you’ll combine yoga with horsemanship. A horseman is someone who truly understands horses, applying their knowledge daily for the horse’s well-being while taking into account not only the horse’s individual personality but also its daily condition. Embarking on this path in harmony with the horse as a living being brings a sense of security to both parties and plenty of wonderful moments.

The best way to enter this vast and diverse world of horses, regardless of riding style, is with horses that are already trained and can provide students with direct feedback on their body language. In groundwork, when we humans are still firmly grounded with both feet, it is easier for us to form a relationship with these magnificent animals, to engage with them, and to lay the foundation for a trusting partnership—namely, a “herd of two.”

Over eight sessions, your program leader will teach you what matters in natural communication with horses, how to build respect and trust on the ground, and why this is so important.

You’ll feel harmony not only in your relationship with horses. Through yoga, you’ll find your inner peace. In the morning, the yoga sessions are invigorating; in the evening, they’re relaxing. Practice physical exercises, breathing techniques, and meditation, and feel strength, expansiveness, and pure joy.
