Summary

How about having something to really look forward to in November? A feel-good highlight that brings warmth and light into your heart?

Let yourself be warmed from the inside during the gray days of November.

Let’s celebrate the transition into the darker half of the year together. Experience nourishing fellowship with other women in a powerful setting. Feel supported; just be present—in silence, in movement, in conversation, in sound.

Feel the wind on a long hike beneath the vast sky of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Afterward, snuggle up by the fireplace or in the field sauna and enjoy the scent of wood.

In an old and lovingly renovated parsonage, we’ll practice in a seminar room with a fireplace and a view of the beautiful garden. The yoga is accessible, gentle, and powerful all at once.

Four days of nourishing activities await you, including yoga, deep relaxation, and live music by the fireplace. Connecting conversations or mindful silence—both are possible.

This is how we support one another as we enter the dark season.

Starting the winter together, feeling nourished, and with a positive experience—and aligning ourselves internally for it—can make a huge difference throughout the entire dark season and carry you through even the toughest moments.

I’m Annika Gläser, and I’ll be guiding you. I help women be gentler with themselves so they can reconnect with their primal strength.

The less pressure we put on ourselves, the more energy we have for our work. That’s why, for me, yoga is always about practicing gentleness toward ourselves. I emphasize proper anatomical alignment and help you find your own healthy variation of the poses. Or even to take a break now and then, while everyone else continues.

The practice is sometimes calm and inward-focused, and at other times powerful and sweaty. The themes of my classes are relevant to everyday life and, at the same time, rooted in the millennia-old philosophy of yoga.

Catering

I recommend that you stay with us right here at the Warbende Rectory. You’ll need to make the reservation yourself; it’s not included in the seminar fee.

The old Warbende rectory is surrounded by rolling fields and patches of forest in the Mecklenburg Lake District. Just beyond the enchanting garden, an incredible view of the seemingly endless sky awaits.

We’ll be staying there privately with a lovely family and their animal companions, who’ll provide us with everything we need: external warmth from the fireplace and sauna, and internal warmth from delicious, organic, regional, and seasonal food.

We’ll have the attic all to ourselves. There are 5 different bedrooms here with space for up to 11 participants, who share 2 shared bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, 2 kitchens, and a field sauna—which works well with a little coordination.

There are no other guests on the farm besides us. You can reach it by regional train in 1.5 hours from Berlin-Gesundbrunnen.

At a glance:
- Breakfast, lunch, cake, and dinner (vegan/vegetarian, organic) prepared for us by the host herself (we wash our own dishes) – 15 euros per meal
- 3 nights’ stay in a grounding house (spacious & cozy 3-bed rooms for 62.50 per person per night; single rooms available for an additional fee)

Our host is part of a biodynamic gardening project. She will personally cook for us using regional and seasonal vegetarian ingredients (vegan meals + cheese and eggs upon request), most of which come from her own garden. She will provide full board, including 3 meals and cake. Her vegan/vegetarian cuisine is delicious and inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine (Ayurveda).

Accommodations and meals are not included in the price. You can request booking information from me (the seminar leader).

I want to create a space where you can feel comfortable—regardless of skin color, sexual orientation, background, or body type.

During our yoga practice, I’ll help you adapt the exercises to your individual needs and abilities using props and alternatives. You should have some prior experience and be able to perform the Sun Salutation.

You can structure your time as you wish

You’re free to skip program activities at any time and spend your day however feels right for you. For example, you could take a day trip or go to the sauna instead of yoga.

The only mandatory times are the group start on Thu at 4:30 PM and the group wrap-up on Sun from 2:30–3:30 PM.

Maybe small groups will form for shared activities. But it’s also totally fine if you’d like to spend some time alone. We communicate our needs openly and respect each other’s wishes.

In some rooms, there will be opportunities to sit in silence together. For example, during meals, there will be one dining room for silence and one for chatting.

It’s okay for everyone if you choose to focus on yourself.

Arrival

The Warbende Rectory is located in the Möllenbeck district of the Mecklenburg Lake District. You can take the regional train to the Blankensee station (1.5 hours from Berlin-Gesundbrunnen) and from there either continue on your bike or have me pick you up in my shuttle.

I’m also happy to help organize carpooling.

On Thursday, you should arrive around 4:00 p.m.—we’ll be waiting for you with cake 🙂 At 4:30 p.m., we’ll kick off the official program together. There will be time later for you to settle into your room at your own pace.

On Sunday, the closing session will take place starting at 2:00 p.m. with a group lunch and wrap-up. From 3:30 p.m., there will be time to pack so we can leave at 4:00 p.m.
