10/28/26 Salam Aleikum – Arrival in Agadir/Taroudant
Transfer from Agadir Airport to our quiet riad in Taroudant. Taroudant is also known as the “little sister of Marrakesh.” After arriving, you can take a stroll through the medina of Taroudant. The unique charm of this traditional old town leaves a lasting impression. After a stroll through the souk, you can relax in the central square with its tea rooms and cafés, enjoying freshly squeezed orange juice or mint tea.
10/29/26 Taroudant – Tata (171 km)
After a morning yoga session and breakfast, the route leads from Taroudant to Tata through vast plains, past argan groves and small Berber villages, before the landscape slowly opens up into a barren, golden stone desert. The road is quiet and easy to drive on, often flanked by the impressive mountain ranges of the Anti-Atlas. Shortly before Tata, the first palm oases appear, looking like green islands in the arid landscape. Tata itself is a quiet, authentic oasis town with traditional mud-brick buildings and a relaxed, warm desert climate. The city is known for its sprawling palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and proximity to rock engravings that are thousands of years old. Tata offers a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for immersing yourself in authentic southern Moroccan life.
10/30/26 Tata - Erg Chegaga (375 km)
From Tata, the route continues toward Erg Chegaga, initially through tranquil oasis landscapes, past palm groves and small mud-brick villages. The road winds further through the southern Anti-Atlas, where the landscape becomes increasingly arid and desert-like. Beyond Foum Zguid, the off-road track begins, leading partly into the rocky and sandy desert. The expanse grows wider, the silence more intense, and the first sand dunes appear on the horizon. Erg Chegaga is one of Morocco’s largest dune fields—wild, vast, and still largely untouched by tourism. The towering dunes and golden light create a magical atmosphere, perfect for desert camps, sunsets, and a sense of infinite freedom.
Oct. 31 – Nov. 1, 2026 Erg Chegaga / Sahara
Yoga sessions await you in the warm light of the rising and setting sun, sometimes invigorating, sometimes restorative. On group hikes through the dunes, you’ll experience the Sahara in its natural rhythm and thus find
your own. Whether on foot or on camels. In the evening, we’ll wind down the day by the campfire as traditional drum music fills the clear night air.
Nov. 2, 2026 Erg Chegaga – Agdz (506 km)
We’ll say goodbye to the desert and head to Agdz, the gateway to the Draa Oasis. Agdz is nestled between the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the fertile Draa Valley. The small town is known for its centuries-old kasbahs, traditional mud-brick buildings, and endless date palm groves that stretch like a green ribbon across the landscape. There, amidst the sprawling palm groves, you’ll stay in a lovingly run riad. A shady garden, rose bushes, and a beautiful pool create a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll stay here for another day and night.
11/03/26 Agdz
On easy hikes through the palm oasis and along ancient irrigation canals, you’ll immerse yourself in the Draa Valley and feel the special energy of this place. Here, you’ll also have time to read or swim if you’d like. Of course, there will be another yoga class in the morning and evening.
