Warming summer sun and pure vacation feeling, in a dreamlike, very comfortable accommodation in the middle of the picturesque rocky Algarve right by the sea. Including a boat tour to the famous sea caves of the Rocky Algarve, a guided hike in a beautiful coastal landscape, a moonlight meditation and an outdoor yoga session on the beach with your feet in the sand. And our retreat's own chef will delight your palate with creative vegetarian delicacies.

Location & surroundings
The Algarve is a coastal paradise in south-western Europe and is still a tip among yoga travelers. Fantastic sandy bays, bizarre cliff formations and the vastness of the Atlantic form the natural backdrop for an inspiring yoga vacation!

The accommodation
The Ocean Retreat is located directly by the sea near the village of Alvor in the center of the rocky Algarve. Nestled in a Mediterranean park, the stylish complex is located above the sandy beach and offers studios, apartments and rooms with and without a view of the Atlantic, depending on your taste. The Seaview Lounge, our spacious communal area, is the center of the retreat: here our retreat chef serves his creative buffets and we come together to enjoy the private pool or the sunset. A highlight of the retreat is the large, bright yoga pavilion "The Wave", with distant views across the Atlantic to Lagos.

Our retreat's own chefs provide us with an extensive, fresh brunch buffet after yoga. On four evenings there is also a creative dinner, always deliciously vegetarian, surprising and fresh. In addition, there is always a generously filled fruit bowl for everyone in the lounge, as well as coffee and tea.

The gentle sound of the sea breeze accompanies our meditation and morning yoga classes in the pavilion, our light-flooded yoga pavilion with a distant view over the Atlantic. The enchanting coastal landscape is right at your feet, with hidden coves between the rocks where you can dream and relax. And if you want to spend your time more actively, the long sandy beach of Alvor starts here, which is ideal for long walks or collecting shells.

Program
Every morning we practise together in nature or in the yoga pavilion, accompanied by the song of the seagulls and the sound of the waves. The cliffs with a distant view of the ocean are the most beautiful place for meditation that nature has given us, asanas with your feet in the sand are a great experience! After an extensive brunch with fresh, vegetarian delicacies, you have plenty of time to enjoy your vacation day according to your preferences. On a varied hike, we will show you the beauty of the rocky Algarve with lots of insider knowledge and background information on nature and culture. A boat tour will show you the coast from a different perspective - the grottos and rocky landscape are uniquely beautiful. The day ends with an evening buffet in the Seaview Lounge, with a view over the bay of Alvor to Lagos, where the sunset lights up the sky.
