Yoga, wanderlust and alpaca adventures in the Mühlviertel region

The Vierkanthof in a secluded location with a view over the hilly landscape of the Mühlviertel offers the ideal atmosphere for a sustainable break. Try out new things, clear your head and feel the impetus for change. Retreat and find peace and quiet at the natural swimming pond, in the woods and in the vastness of the gently rolling landscape. Enjoy moments of relaxation in the sauna and in the evening in a cozy atmosphere around the fire bowl.

Modern, vegetarian-vegan cuisine awaits you at the Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center. Start the day with a feel-good breakfast with breads, jams, cheese, freshly prepared porridge, fruit, various types of milk, yogurt, fruit juices, spreads, coffee and various teas. At 2 p.m. we serve a light lunch with a warming soup and spreads with bread or pastries.
Let yourself be surprised by the variety of vegetarian and vegan cuisine at the evening buffet. Free water and tea are available throughout the day. Other drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) are available for a fee on site. Lactose-free and gluten-free diets can be catered for to a limited extent by prior arrangement.

The Mühlviertel granite country will amaze you. Experience an active yet relaxing vacation between the Danube and the Bohemian Forest.

With our gentle alpacas you hike along the panorama trail and look out over the countryside with its rolling hills, meadows and forests. Another hike together (approx. 3.5 hours) takes you to the most beautiful place in Upper Austria - the Pesenbach Valley. A place of power with springs and pools, impressive rock formations, mosses and ferns. Following in Kneipp's footsteps, you explore the "Path of Healing", a highlight of the Donausteig trail.

Roll out your yoga mat. In the morning and late afternoon, you can do something good for your body and mind and practise yoga in the yoga room or on the large outdoor platform with a fascinating view.
Spend a relaxing evening by the natural bathing pond or in the courtyard of the 800-year-old Vierkanthof. The Retreat Center invites you to enjoy.

Program scope:

- 1 hike with alpacas along the panorama trail (approx. 1.5 hours)
- 1 hike through the Pesenbach valley (approx. 3.5 hours)
- Daily 1.5 hours of yoga in the morning and evening. The yoga sessions are suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners - no previous experience is necessary. You decide what you would like to take part in according to your mood.
- 1 cozy evening at the natural swimming pond or in the courtyard

From Linz: via Ottensheim on the Rohrbacher Bundesstraße to Altenfelden
From Passau: via Oberkappel or Engelhartszell to Altenfelden

By train and bus:
Travel by train to Linz main station, from here there are regular bus connections to Altenfelden, pick-up from the Altenfelden Ort bus stop is included at fixed times:
Pick-up from the bus: 14.08 h and 15.08 h (registration at least 24 hours before arrival)
Transfer to the bus: 09.50 h and 10.50 h.
