There are several shared rooms accommodating two, three, four, or five people, as well as one large shared room for approximately eight guests.

Wi-Fi is available in the house; however, we encourage guests to take the opportunity for a digital detox.

Please bring the following items:

Personal hygiene articles.
For hygiene reasons, three-piece bed linen is required: a pillowcase, a duvet cover, and a bed sheet.
Please note that sleeping bags must also be covered with bed linen.
Fitted sheets do not fit the oversized mattresses.
Otherwise, bed linen must be rented from the house.
Slippers are required throughout the entire house. Please bring your own slippers.

THE TEACHERS

Venerable Bhikkhuni Dr. Jian Hui
Director of Studies at the Bao-Yan Zen Monastery in Taiwan

Bhikkhuni Dr. Jian Hui is the abbess of the Yuan-Dao Chan Monastery in Kaohsiung and a renowned Buddhist teacher with an academic background in management and education.

Using an integrative approach that combines Buddhist teachings, psychology, philosophy, and science, she teaches Buddhist ways of thinking and practice to people from other religious and cultural traditions as well.

Dejun Liu
Former martial arts instructor at a police academy in China; Certified Level 1 Wushu Coach (China), 6th Duan in Wushu.

For several years, Dejun Liu has been teaching Chinese martial arts, Qi Gong, Nei Gong, and meditative bodywork to people of various age groups.

His areas of focus include “Zhan Zhuang,” the Standing Pillar, and mindful movement exercises. Both forms of practice combine posture, breathing, concentration, and inner calm. They are among the oldest and most important practices in qigong and Chinese martial arts.
