BookAll meals at the Mountain Retreat Center are vegetarian and vegan. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day—at least according to the Chinese. That’s why we place special emphasis on a good, healthy breakfast—always featuring warm porridge. For lunch, you’ll enjoy soup, bread, and spreads, and in the evening, you’ll be treated to a delicious buffet featuring salad, creative vegetarian and vegan main courses, and dessert. Everything is freshly prepared and, whenever possible, made with seasonal ingredients. We can accommodate food intolerances with advance notice.
Nestled in the heart of the Chiemgau Alps, you’ll find the perfect retreat to rediscover your breath—not merely as a biological function, but as a tool for profound change. The autonomic nervous system, which automatically regulates all vital processes, is closely linked to breathing—and can be consciously influenced through it.
During the retreat, you’ll learn how simple yet targeted breathing techniques can help you gain greater control over your physical and mental well-being. Issues such as sleep quality, immune function, blood pressure, concentration, and inner restlessness are all linked to the quality of your breathing.
Armin Fischwenger explains in an easy-to-understand and practical way how breathing works—and what it is capable of. With his many years of experience in breathwork, body therapy, and health promotion, he creates a space where learning and experience go hand in hand.
In addition to informative sessions, the daily program includes practical exercises: from the conscious activation of breathing spaces (abdomen, flanks, chest) to coherent breathing for heart-brain harmonization, and on to invigorating breathing techniques that energize the entire system. This allows you to specifically strengthen the parasympathetic nervous system—the part of the nervous system responsible for regeneration, rest, and healing.
The Mountain Retreat Center, surrounded by alpine meadows and overlooking the Zahmer Kaiser, offers the perfect setting for this experience. The Swiss stone pine sauna, vegetarian-vegan full board, and the tranquil, nature-filled atmosphere support the process of finding peace on all levels.
What you’ll gain from this week:
- Greater physical and emotional stability through mindful breathing
- Practical exercises for self-regulation in daily life
- A deeper understanding of how your nervous system works
- More vitality, serenity, and joy of life through active breathing practice
