This retreat focuses on the breath as the key to inner spaciousness, self-awareness, and self-regulation. When the breath is no longer controlled or held back, but is given space, the nervous system can calm down. Stress is allowed to dissolve, the mind becomes clearer, and a sense of inner stability and openness emerges. From this connection, it becomes possible to perceive more finely what feels right—both in one’s own body and in one’s inner experience.
A central gateway to breathing is the voice. Breath and voice are in direct interaction: A free, lively voice requires a supported, open breath—and at the same time, deepening voice work deepens the connection to the breath. Through simple voice, resonance, and sound exercises, you will explore your own expression in a playful yet meditative way. Resonance becomes tangible in the body, experienced through shared sound, and blockages in the nervous system can gently dissolve.
Complementary meditative awareness exercises are incorporated, drawing on elements from Qi Gong and Nei Gong—though the course is not intended to be understood as a traditional Qi Gong class. The focus is on working with attention, inner stillness, and presence. These quieter sequences alternate with phases of breath, voice, and movement, supporting the integration of the experience.
The work combines various approaches from breathwork, nervous system work, Body-Mind Centering, functional voice training, and psychologically grounded self-awareness. The psychological context is consciously incorporated: it is not just about technique, but about the quality of the experience—about perceiving inner states, understanding one’s own patterns, and mindfully engaging with what arises.
Phases of sound, movement, and expression are repeatedly complemented by periods of silence. Pausing, sensing, and reflecting are essential components of the retreat and enable lasting integration. In this way, breath, voice, and body can be experienced as allies—on the path to greater presence, clarity, and lived inner freedom.
