WHAT IS HOLOTROPIC BREATHING?
Holotropic breathing is a method developed by Stanislav Grof in the 1970s that combines accelerated breathing, evocative music, process-oriented bodywork, and intuitive painting. The goal is to achieve an expanded state of consciousness in which unprocessed emotions and experiences can surface and be integrated.
The method is suitable both for overcoming emotional challenges and for personal growth.

What exactly does the three-day seminar entail?
Our seminar offers a safe, protected space and a supportive atmosphere in which participants can allow their inner process to unfold. On the first day, everyone has the opportunity to get to know one another. This is followed by an introduction to Holotropic Breathing. Afterward, breathing pairs are formed for the breathing sessions the next day.
On the second day, the breathing sessions take place. Participants embark on an inner journey, while the sitters lovingly witness the processes. The therapists hold the space and provide support as needed through body-oriented process work—for example, to release tension or bring hidden feelings into motion. At the end of the breathing process, an intuitive image emerges that serves to anchor the experiences.
A special focus is placed on integrating the experiences into the context of participants’ personal lives. We will use the third day for this purpose. We will reflect on, process, and integrate the experiences in small groups and in a large group setting.
