Summary

“Meditation is simply about being yourself and gradually becoming aware of who that is.” (Jon Kabat-Zinn)

The goal of this experiential workshop is to help us experience ourselves as conscious, authentic, and alive.

Through the spiritual practice of wisdom from East and West, as well as modern, scientifically researched mindfulness methods, we embark on an inner journey of discovery. We open up an expanded space of consciousness—a space of being where we are allowed to be exactly as we truly are. There we find deep peace and learn to encounter ourselves and the world with trust and acceptance.

COURSE ELEMENTS:
- Guided mindfulness and body awareness exercises
- Introduction to traditional and modern mindfulness methods (contemplation, Zen, MBSR, MBCL, etc.)
- Silent meditation and dialogical process work
- Short presentations, reflection exercises, and one-on-one conversations
- Transfer exercises for professional and personal daily life

FEEDBACK FROM COURSE PARTICIPANTS:

Dear Renato,
I am so grateful again for this course and the tools you give us.
There is so much to sense and feel that I have to limit myself to just a few things, otherwise the depth is lost. Thank you for your kindness, your goodwill, your down-to-earth nature, and your authenticity!!!!
– B. V. from Karben

Dear Renato,
the seminar with you has truly changed me; I went home feeling very content, confident, calm, and free from all expectations. That was a completely new experience!!
I am currently living very mindfully and am more aware than before, and I no longer judge anything. Your statement, “Everything that is, is allowed to be, and what is allowed to be can change,” is helping me navigate everyday life much better now.
For me, it was a very special week because—for me—everything was just right: the course, the participants, the surroundings, the accommodations, and above all, the friendliness with which we all treated one another.
I haven’t “followed up” on everything yet, but I’m staying on top of it, as I can tell how much all the guidance on mindful living has benefited me.
I would give all aspects of the seminar a 10 (top grade). I can’t think of anything that could be improved. Thanks to your teaching style, methods, content, and your inimitable way of conveying information, I’ve retained much more than I have from other seminars on similar topics.
Thank you very much, and I wish you continued success with many participants interested in a mindful life.
- Claudia (Lipinski) from Berlin

Clarity, simplicity, and creativity in cooking give our cuisine a distinct and recognizable profile. For information and to recreate our dishes at home, you can find inspiration in our Benediktushof cookbooks “The Taste of Zen” or “Masterful Zen Recipes.”

It was an invigorating yet lively stay. Some of the rituals in the monastery seemed a little strange at first, but over the course of the stay they were coherent and did us good. Any time again. 😊

At the beginning I thought, ohwe...the next 4 days without talking, but then it was just fantastic to let go, relax, rediscover gratitude, self-care, meditation, enjoying good vegetarian food (in silence), without a cell phone in my pocket, strangely enough there were no calls at all during that time 🙂 I would come again at any time!
