In an age of multimedia communication, information overload, constant availability, time pressure, and personal and professional commitments, our well-being can be affected in many different and individual ways. All too often, our thoughts circle around the past or the future. Here, you have the chance to fully be present in the here and now, free from external distractions, disruptions, and any expectations. It is an OASIS of retreat to strengthen yourself physically, emotionally, and mentally. Discover the healing power of peace and quiet, experience deep relaxation and renewal, and reconnect with your inner strength and harmony.

The beautiful natural surroundings of the Sauerland region, which border the monastery, invite you to deepen your experience of slowing down, peace, and quiet with a walk during breaks.

What to Expect
This 2.5-day summer retreat combines mindfulness practices, restorative Yin Yoga, mindful physical exercises, MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) exercises, nature experiences through forest bathing, silent walks, and breath walks, as well as various meditation techniques. The goal is to facilitate a profound and clarifying “mind detox.” In a world often characterized by noise and constant stimulation, silence allows the brain a break during which it can recover from these stresses. This leads to a reduction in cortisol levels and an improvement in overall well-being.

Promoting inner peace and balance: Through periods of silence, participants can delve deeper into their inner world. These moments of peace and silence allow them to strengthen their inner harmony and find their center, which contributes to greater mental clarity and emotional balance. Silence fosters increased mindfulness, which helps participants experience the present moment more consciously and let go of negative thought patterns.

A healthy, wholesome, vegan-alkaline diet supports participants on mental, emotional, and physical levels throughout the retreat.
Her loving and caring nature creates an atmosphere of security that allows participants to fully engage in their inner journey.

It’s a time for YOU. A time to replenish your resources, recharge your energy and strength, so you can return to everyday life feeling renewed. We’d be happy to guide and support you on this journey.

Warm regards, Peggy Böhmer

Catering

In the morning, we’re treated to a hearty alkaline breakfast. Lunch and dinner consist of wholesome, freshly cooked meals. An alkaline diet is planned for this week, which supports detoxification and relieves strain on the body. This allows the body to relax even more quickly. An alkaline diet promotes a balanced acid-alkaline balance and can thus naturally enhance your well-being.
A salad bar is available, as well as a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Full board is provided for our group but is not included in the seminar price. Food intolerances (including allergies) can be accommodated. Please specify these when making your reservation.
