Make space for your inner creator. A retreat that invites you to draw from your abundance and set your ideas in motion.
To put it in the words of Anaïs Nin (French writer, b. Feb. 21, 1903, d. Jan. 14, 1977):
The role of the muse in myth has always been that of inspiration.
During our retreat, we connect with our ‘inner muse’—with our very own creativity that dwells within us. We draw closer to our muse by sensitizing and activating our senses—each day of the retreat has a special theme and focuses on one or more of the senses.
So we experience inspiration through ourselves! But we also experience inspiration through others—through our fellow muses, through nature, and through a special artist connected to the specific location where our workshop takes place.
Our week together takes place in the unique atmosphere of our healing retreat in the Vulkaneifel. This venue offers ideal conditions, especially for people seeking tranquility, wishing to recharge their batteries, or wanting to express their creativity.
Consciously experiencing nature helps us distance ourselves from everyday life, organize our thoughts, and reconnect with ourselves.
Art and nature complement each other in a special way here: both create spaces for perception, mindfulness, and personal growth.
With this retreat, we invite you not only to visit the Vulkaneifel but to experience it with all your senses:

My clients usually find their own accommodations in the surrounding area. This is simply because everyone has different preferences. Some prefer their own apartment, while others might just want a simple room. Both options are available in the immediate vicinity.
But perhaps you’d prefer a complete package for your retreat? We also have guest rooms at our healing retreat. If available, you’re welcome to stay with us. The guest rooms are located in the adjacent building. They have their own entrance and access to the garden. You’ll share the kitchen and bathroom with your roommates. Please feel free to talk to me about this.
Meals are not included because everyone’s needs vary widely. You decide for yourself what’s best for you. Generally, you can prepare your own meals at your lodging—either you have your own kitchen or at least cooking facilities, or there are options that include breakfast or even an on-site restaurant. In Daun, there are large supermarkets, bars, and restaurants.
A retreat to discover and unleash your inner muse.
Itinerary:
Day 1 – DAY OF SILENCE
To set the tone for the retreat, we enter a state of silence... We leave everyday life behind, with all its demands and emotions, and make room for silence. We listen to our inner voice, trying to HEAR our inner muse... What does she want to tell us?
Day 2 - ARTIST DAY I: PITT KREUZBERG
Today, we’ll draw inspiration from the biography of the unconventional Eifel artist Pitt Kreuzberg. We’ll explore his works and visit the places he longed for and created at the Schalkenmehrener Maar. There, we’ll try to empathize with the artist and his feelings. Can we, too, FEEL our inner muse here?
Day 3 – SEEING WITH OUR HANDS
On the third day of our Muse Week, the focus is on the sense of touch. To explore this, we’ll work with our hands. Clay is earth; it symbolizes security and basic trust. As a material, it is flexible and malleable, allowing plenty of creative freedom and encouraging experimentation. Through the creative process, we gain direct access to our creative powers. In this way, we try to CONNECT with our inner muse
Day 4 – FOOD FOR THE MUSE
Today we head out into nature. Here we find everything that nourishes our inner muse. We smell, taste, and touch; we see and hear. We create a place of power for our muse, where she can find everything she needs... A place that can NOURISH our inner muse...
Day 5 – DAY OF BIRTH
Our muse now wants to be born... Today is the day of creative eruption. How does she want to express herself? Does she want to paint, write, sing, or sculpt? We give our muse free rein, BRING her into the world, and promise her that from now on she will have a place in our lives...
Open studio followed by reflection and a closing ritual.
On your own. If you’d like to explore the area a bit outside of the retreat program or head to more distant starting points for hikes or walks, we recommend traveling by car.
Traveling by train: The Gerolstein train station is 14 km away from us. From there, you can reach us by bus (advance reservation by phone required) or by taxi. If the timing works out, we can also arrange a pickup.
