Yoga, Hiking, and Alpaca Adventures in the Mühlviertel Region

At the Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center, you can enjoy modern vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Start your day with a heartwarming breakfast featuring breads, jams, cheese, freshly made porridge, fruit, a variety of milk options, yogurt, fruit juices, spreads, coffee, and a selection of teas. At 2:00 p.m., we serve a light lunch featuring a warming soup and spreads with bread or pastries.
Let the variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes at the evening buffet surprise you. Water and tea are available for free all day long. Other beverages (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) are available on-site for a fee. Upon advance notice, we can accommodate lactose-free and gluten-free dietary restrictions to a limited extent.

The Mühlviertel Granite Region will leave you in awe. Experience an active yet relaxing vacation between the Danube and the Bohemian Forest.

Hike along the Panoramic Trail with our gentle alpacas and gaze out over the landscape with its rolling hills, meadows, and forests. Another hike together (about 3.5 hours) takes you to the most beautiful spot in Upper Austria—the Pesenbach Valley. A place of healing energy with springs and pools, impressive rock formations, mosses, and ferns. Following in Kneipp’s footsteps, you’ll explore the “Path of Healing,” a highlight of the Donausteig trail.

Roll out your yoga mat. In the morning and late afternoon, you can do your body and mind a world of good by practicing yoga in the yoga room or on the large outdoor platform with its breathtaking panoramic views.
Spend a cozy evening by the natural swimming pond or in the courtyard of the 800-year-old square farmstead. The Retreat Center invites you to enjoy yourself.

Program Details:

- 1 hike with alpacas along the Panorama Trail (approx. 1.5 hours)
- 1 hike through the Pesenbach Valley (approx. 3.5 hours)
- 1.5 hours of yoga daily in the morning and evening. The yoga sessions are suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners—no prior experience is necessary. You can decide which sessions to attend based on your mood.
- 1 relaxing evening by the natural swimming pond or in the courtyard

From Linz: via Ottensheim on the Rohrbach federal highway to Altenfelden
From Passau: via Oberkappel or Engelhartszell to Altenfelden

By Train and Bus:
Take the train to Linz Central Station; from there, there are regular bus connections to Altenfelden. Pickup from the “Altenfelden Ort” bus stop is included at fixed times:
Pickup from the bus: 2:08 p.m. and 3:08 p.m. (Please register at least 24 hours before arrival)
Transfer to the bus: 9:50 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.
