Summary

From Survival Mode Back to Life: A Trauma-Sensitive Retreat for the Nervous System, Body, and Soul.

The demands of everyday life or prolonged stress take their toll on our nervous system. When chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, or old wounds take over, the body loses its sense of safety. This exclusive Trauma Recovery Retreat offers you a safe, professionally guided space to gently release deeply rooted blockages. Set amidst the powerful natural beauty of the Vulkaneifel, we combine modern trauma therapy, body-oriented approaches (Somatic Experiencing), and the healing silence of nature to help you regulate your nervous system in a lasting way.

The retreat is designed for people experiencing phases of exhaustion (burnout prevention), those recovering from life-altering events, or those who wish to process chronic stress and trauma on a physical level.

We work in a strictly trauma-sensitive, resource-oriented manner and without any pressure that could lead to retraumatization. You set the pace. The focus is not on repeatedly retelling the “old story,” but on regulation in the here and now.

The number of participants is strictly limited (1–5 people) to ensure maximum safety and individualized support.

Accommodation

My clients usually find their own accommodations in the surrounding area. This is simply because everyone has different preferences. Some prefer their own apartment, while others might just want a simple room. Both options are available in the immediate vicinity.

But perhaps you’d prefer a complete package for your retreat? We also have guest rooms at our healing retreat. If available, you’re welcome to stay with us. The guest rooms are located in the adjacent building. They have their own entrance and access to the garden. You’ll share the kitchen and bathroom with your roommates. Please feel free to talk to me about this.

Catering

Meals are not included, as everyone’s needs vary greatly. You decide for yourself what’s best for you. Generally, you can prepare your own meals at your accommodations—either you have your own kitchen or at least cooking facilities, or there are options that include breakfast or even an on-site restaurant. In Daun, there are large supermarkets, bars, and restaurants.
