Summertime at SEINsART
Nature Days for Parents and Children
Fathers and daughters. Mothers and sons. Father and son. Mother and daughter. Families and friends with children.
Sometimes all it takes is a few days in a good place.
A place with a fire pit, a garden shed, vegetable beds, flowers, stories, nature, and people who take the time.
At the SEINsART Nature Garden Biotope, we invite families, parents, and children to spend a few summer days together—without a fixed vacation schedule, without pressure to perform, and without a pre-planned entertainment program.
Instead, we create space for what is often neglected in everyday life:
Time for each other.
Time in nature.
Time to play, create, discover, rest, and experience.
Amid the permaculture garden, pond, spirit hut, medicine wheel, fire pit, yoga room, and garden hut, people of all ages can rediscover their own rhythm.
In a time when our world is changing ever more rapidly, we want to strengthen places where people can remember what truly nourishes them:
Nature. Community. Creativity. Connection. Simple living.
SEINsART sees itself as such a place of roots and seeds. A place where the regeneration of people and nature go hand in hand.
This isn’t about accomplishing something special or completing a program.
This is about experiencing a good time together.
A time you’ll still remember years later.
“Do you remember when we cooked together by the fire?”
“Do you remember when we got the clay from the pond?”
“Do you remember when we sat under the stars and told stories?”
Memories like these are often more valuable than any vacation program.
What can happen here
Every family brings its own wishes, interests, and rhythm.
Some spend hours by the pond, others explore the garden, sit by the fire, or build something together with their hands.
At SEINsART, there is no set vacation program. Instead, what emerges from the place, the people, and their respective needs is whatever is ready to come to life.
Possible experiences include:
Harvesting vegetables and cooking together
Cooking and baking over the fire
Carving and crafting with wood
Creating walking sticks or memory sticks
Making dreamcatchers and keepsakes
Collecting clay from the pond and shaping it
Creating nature art and mandalas
Collecting flowers and decorating nature
Body painting and creative design
Telling stories and listening to stories
Drumming, singing, and experiencing rhythm
Dancing under the open sky
Swimming, playing, and exploring
Yoga for all ages
Time in the Spirit Hut and at the Medicine Wheel
Nature observation and gardening
Time for rest, reading, and simply being
Participation in individual activities is voluntary.
Each family tailors their stay to their own needs and interests.
Guidance by Julia and the SEINsART Circle
Julia von Ungern-Sternberg has lived and worked at SEINsART for many years.
As a yoga teacher, alternative practitioner for psychotherapy, host, consciousness educator, and guide for processes of transformation and development, she has been exploring for many years how people can live in connection with themselves, with one another, and with nature.
This has given rise not only to a natural garden but also to a vibrant space for experience.
Depending on the situation and interests, the following may naturally arise:
Conversations about being human and life
Exchanges about family, community, and change
Questions of consciousness and personal development
Stories, songs, and rituals
Yoga and relaxation sessions
TriGuna yoga massages
Creative activities for children and adults
Making music together, drumming, or singing around the fire
The program is supported by people from the SEINsART circle who have chosen this place as their home and workplace and are committed to a life that is close to nature, communal, and mindful.
This creates a vibrant space where children can experience a variety of adults and adults can inspire one another.
Not a seminar.
Not childcare.
But a temporary living community.
Accommodations
Depending on availability, various options are available:
Garden cabins in the natural garden
Guest rooms in the house
Studio rooms
Parking space for your own camper on the grounds
Common areas such as the seminar kitchen, the yoga room, the fire pit, the terraces, and the natural garden can be shared.
Meals
A significant part of our time together revolves around preparing food.
We cook together, use vegetables and herbs from the garden, prepare meals over the fire, and enjoy the simple joy of a good meal in community.

An invitation
We believe that children need more than just beautiful places.
They need vibrant adults.
Adults who cook, tell stories, create, laugh, make music, garden, listen, and take responsibility.
And perhaps we adults need exactly such places as well.
Places where we remember that a good life can often be surprisingly simple.
We look forward to welcoming you to SEINsART.
Caring for Land.
Caring for People.
Caring for Spirit.
