What sets Germany apart as a retreat country
Germany works differently from classic long-haul retreat destinations such as Bali or Goa. Summer opens the mountain and forest layers around Berchtesgaden, the Black Forest and the Eifel for outdoor yoga, hiking and time in nature, joined by wilderness and archery seminars in the Bavarian foothills. Spring and autumn are the calmest months for mindfulness and silence days in the monasteries.
